Rhythmic Gymnastic Coach

Job Description

Due to the ongoing growth in our programs we require a Rhythmic Gymnastics coach to instruct recreational programs. Working under the direction of the Head Coach, the individual will be responsible for teaching recreational classes to girls 4-15. Classes are held weeknights and Saturdays, and have a maximum of 15 participants per class. Position will provide up to 15 hours of paid time per week and will start in September. Depending upon qualifications and experience, additional advanced level coaching opportunities are available.

We are looking for a coach who will help young gymnasts discover the fun and creativity of Rhythmic Gymnastics.

The Kanata Rhythmic Sportive Gymnastics Club recreational program is offered throughout the school year in locations throughout Kanata. The Club maintains a skill development program, with badges awarded for various levels of achievement. In the spring we host a Club Gymnaestrada where our recreational gymnasts perform routines to family and friends.

Salaries are based on level of expertise and accreditation.

Job Requirements

  • Fully certified at NCCP Level 1 Rhythmic Gymnastics
  • Good English language communication skills

Club Background

The Kanata Rhythmic Sportive Gymnastics Club has been in existence for over 30 years. We provide 3 types of gymnastic opportunities: our recreational program - base of the club, our Interclub program and our Provincial program. We have over 150 gymnasts in the club. Our club is well recognized in the Province for both the quality of our gymnasts and the organization skills of our volunteer families in running events.
