COMPETITIVE RHYTHMIC GYMNASTICS COACH

Kanata Rhythmic Gymnastics Club (KRSG) in Ottawa, Ontario is seeking a highly motivated and experienced full-
time Competitive Coach to join its coaching team for the 2023-2024 season.
The primary coaching responsibilities will be with gymnasts of all ages competing in the Ontario Interclub and
Provincial stream programs. Depending on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, additional
coaching responsibilities may be offered in other program areas in the club.
Candidates must be certified NCCP Foundations in Rhythmic Gymnastics, and be actively working towards
completion of Level 2 NCCP in Rhythmics. A minimum of 2 years of experience coaching competitive rhythmic
gymnastics is required.
KRSG offers a competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.
Required qualifications:
Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada
Consideration may be given to qualified candidates who are currently eligible to work in Canada
Vulnerable Sector Police Check completed after January 1, 2023
Must be able to communicate effectively in oral and written English
Applicants must have completed the following certification:
Certified NCCP Foundations in Rhythmic Gymnastics
First Aid with CPR
Respect in Sport online course
NCCP Making Ethical Decisions online course

Founded in 1975, the Kanata Rhythmic Gymnastics Club (KRSG) is a full-service, not-for-profit club providing quality rhythmic
gymnastics programs for girls and young women in the West Ottawa-Kanata-Stittsville areas. One of the largest rhythmic
gymnastics clubs in Ontario, KRSG offers a range of Recreational classes for girls aged 4 and up, as well as an extensive
Advanced Training program that includes Ontario Interclub, Provincial, National and International performance levels. The
KRSG club presently has gymnasts on the Canadian National Team. Gymnasts in the Advanced Training stream also
participate in provincial, national and international gymnaestrada events.
All KRSG coaches are certified in the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP). The club is highly respected as a host
of large events and is a member in good standing of Gymnastics Ontario.
