Additionally, she is an athletic life coach with extensive expertise in developing young individuals with a healthy mind and body. Her focus on physical health and athleticism has enabled her to effectively impact athletes and help them grow in all areas of their lives.

Breanna’s gymnastics journey with KRSG began at just eight years old. She competed with the club through the age of 16, finishing her competitive career in the National Stream. During her time as an athlete, Breanna became a five-time Provincial Champion and was honoured to serve as GO’s Athlete Representative in 2010. Her years with KRSG also gave her the opportunity to travel internationally, both competing and performing in countries including Austria, Switzerland and Egypt.

Following her competitive gymnastics career, Breanna continued to pursue her passion for movement through post-secondary education in circus arts. She studied at L’École nationale de cirque, a school founded by Cirque du Soleil, specializing in aerial acrobatics and contortion. She later returned to gymnastics as a coach, bringing with her a unique combination of technical gymnastics experience, performance training and a deep appreciation for creativity and movement.

Breanna is an NCCP Level 3 certified coach and holds her National-level judging certification. Over the years, she has had the opportunity to work with athletes across a variety of levels and continues to find the greatest reward in helping athletes and coaches grow, develop confidence and discover what they are capable of.

At the heart of Breanna’s coaching philosophy is a passion for movement, creativity and people. Whether she is working with an athlete or supporting a fellow coach, she thrives on developing meaningful and impactful connections. As she returns to KRSG, Breanna is excited to contribute to the continued development of the club’s programs while helping foster the strong sense of community that makes gymnastics so special.

Irina has her NCCP level 1 theory and technical certification. She joined KRSG in 1998 for one year and returned in the summer of 2008. Irina is originally from Russia where she graduated from Arts University with a Bachelors degree in Choreography.

She has spent years performing professionally in dance groups. From 2000 until 2008 Irina shared her time between leading the kids fitness programs at Planet Fitness in Russia while at the same time she continued increasing her experience as a choreographer.

Irina also worked in Italy as a ballet teacher before moving to Canada. Irina says, “Dance is not what you do, it is what you are!”

Samantha is a certified NCCP level 3 coach and National level 3 judge. She moved to Ottawa and joined KRSG in 2023. Originally from Vancouver, BC, Sam was a gymnast for 9 years, with 5 of them at national level.

Sam has over 10 years experience coaching provincial and national level gymnasts in BC and Ontario! Outside of RG, she has training in dance, specifically ball room and ballet. Using her Bachelor of Kinesiology and Master of Social Work backgrounds, her approach to coaching is individualized and holistic, to help each gymnast achieve their personal goals.

Sam believes that the skills necessary for becoming a strong gymnast are transferable to all areas of life, and she loves to see athletes thrive both in and out of the gym.

Claire is a former national level rhythmic gymnast with many years of competitive experience. She is a two-time Canadian Group Champion, a Provincial Group Champion, and an Individual Provincial Champion who has competed nationally and internationally.

She is an NCCP Competition 1 Certified Coach passionate about helping athletes build their skills and confidence.

Claire is studying Biomedical Science at the University of Ottawa.

Sarah is NCCP level 1 trained and joined KRSG in 2009 in the recreational stream. Sarah has competed in AGG at both the interclub and provincial levels. She has participated in 2 Canadian Gymnaestradas in BC and Alberta, as well as the 2019 World Gymnaestrada in Austria.

Passionate about working with children, Sarah strives to ensure every gymnast feels supported and included. Outside of the gym, Sarah is pursuing her B.Ed in teaching and learning at the elementary level!

Marley is a former provincial-level rhythmic gymnast with many years of competitive experience, having competed at competitions throughout Ontario and participated in one Canadian Gymnaestrada. Her years as an athlete have given her a deep appreciation for the beauty, artistry, and discipline of rhythmic gymnastics.

Extremely passionate about the art of rhythmic gymnastics, Marley chose to become a coach so she could share that passion with the next generation of gymnasts. She especially loves working with children and creating a positive, encouraging environment where athletes can build confidence, develop their skills, build friendships and discover their own love for the sport.

Marley also brings experience from one year in the Child and Youth Care Program at Algonquin College, where she developed the understanding of child development and working with youth. She is committed to continuing her own development and journey as a coach, while inspiring and guiding each athlete to reach their full potential, both in and outside the gym.

Ella began her gymnastics journey with KRSG at the age of six, developing her passion through Aesthetic Group Gymnastics (AGG). As a member of AGG Team Canada (Charms), she has represented the country on the international stage at numerous AGG World Cups across Spain, Italy, and most recently at the 2026 World Cup in Paris, where the team advanced to the finals. She was also proud to represent Canada at the 2023 World Gymnaestrada in Amsterdam.

Bringing her extensive competitive background to the next generation, Ella has been coaching for the past year, working with developmental AGG teams as well as recreational classes. She brings a collaborative spirit and dedication to the gym, inspiring young athletes to build confidence and love the sport.

Kate began coaching in 2025, working with recreational, ODP, and Interclub gymnasts. She is passionate about gymnastics and leading younger athletes through the sport by helping them grow as strong and dedicated gymnasts.

She has been doing gymnastics for 10 years, and was a finalist for both the 2025 IFAGG World Cup in Toronto, Canada, and the 2026 IFAGG World Cup in Goussainville, France. She has participated in the 2022 Canadian Gymnaestrada in Edmonton, as well as the 2023 World Gymnaestrada in Amsterdam.

Victoria joined KRSG as a recreational gymnast in 2017. She began competing in 2020 as a provincial gymnast and advanced to the national level in 2023. She has competed at numerous national and international competitions, including Canadian Championships and Elite Canada, and events in Belgium and Croatia.

She participated in the 2023 World Gymnaestrada in Amsterdam and also trained in AGG, travelling to the 2024 World Cup in Spain. Victoria has experience in all rhythmic gymnastics disciplines.

Victoria has recently started her coaching journey and has been gaining experience working in the recreational and pre-competitive programs.
